Hi, I’m Mary!
Teaching for me was an amazing mid-life journey! After careers in Market Research, Commercial Banking, and full-time Motherhood, I earned my teaching license and never looked back.
I loved teaching! I loved the kids, the research and planning, and the collaboration with other teachers.
I loved my content! I taught Middle School Ancient History, Math, and Reading for 10 years before I retired to travel with my husband.
But it’s hard to let go. So, I sub 2-3 days a week at our local high school. I have a 5-minute commute and I don’t start until 7:45!
And during Covid, when my district offered a virtual option, I became a virtual substitute kindergarten teacher for 3 months for 35 adorable little people.
During my Middle School tenure, it was either create my own resources or have none. Unfortunately, not an uncommon situation.
I spend my days prettying up those proven resources to help other Middle School teachers like you. They’re available at my two Teachers Pay Teachers stores – Looking to the Past (Ancient History) and Middle Grades Math.
When I’m not focusing on all things teaching, I love to be outside – walking, biking, gardening, snowshoeing!
